Welcome!

So who am I and what do I do?  I am a lawyer, originally from Canada, and more recently transplanted from the hustle and bustle of London, England to the wide-open spaces of the Rocky Mountain foothills.

It has taken some adjusting.

Stilettos have made way for Sorels. Tea has been shelved for coffee. Snow has been added to suits. But my stories have stayed firmly in the skyscrapers, freeways, and vibrancy of the city.

My debut, LEGAL HEAT (Samhain Publishing), takes place in Vancouver, BC. City of my heart. Vancouver has everything: from mountains to beaches, skyscrapers to cobblestones. Nothing beats Vancouver on a sunny day—although they are few and far between! I love Granville Island for its unique little shops and mouthwatering displays of fruits and veggies; Gastown, for its eclectic mix of historic and modern; and South Granville for its accessibility to almost everything. And nothing beats a walk/run around the Stanley Park seawall with its breathtaking views, crashing surf and ocean spray.

LEGAL HEAT takes you from the hidden side of Gastown to the upscale boutiques of West Vancouver and from the boardrooms of towering skyscrapers to the courtrooms in Vancouver’s incredible glass-covered courthouse. I promise objections and seductions, submissions and admissions, as well as a dollop of murder, mystery and mayhem.

Come travel with me!
